Unrouxly (Roelien Booysen) never had a television in her house as a kid so she spent a lot of time drawing from an early age. She grew up In South Africa and received her BA Information design Degree from the University of Pretoria. She worked in the fashion industry in London for a few years and started her freelancing career in 2008 in Cape Town. She currently resides in Taiwan where she gets inspiration from the East and teaches illustration to kids. Her strong line work is instantly recognizable in her work and she likes to colour with watercolours mixed with collage.
