Susie Loow is a professional architect with interest in art and illustration. Her works are mostly inspired by ideas, contemplation and imagination of vast scenes. She portrays a story which is influential in executing the direction and composition of the layout. Ideas are mostly whimsical, dark and moody and sometimes thoughtful with various underlying themes, including space, romance and fantasy.Most of the illustrations are an intriguing combination of text and imagery which supports each other to deliver a message. Setting, colors and gestures are also composed to create a unique spatial experience. In architecture, her work illustrates a spatial experience which helps narrate the project. She enjoys doodling, painting, collage and Photoshop. She currently lives between Jakarta and Singapore. She was a finalist in the 2007-2009 JAD International Competition, Seoul - Korea.
